Remarkable New Memoir
of HIV/AIDS Survivor
Inspires Readers

Brave author Gary J. Mello shares his incredible and death-defying struggles
against disease.

Dunnellon, FL (PRWEB) October 24, 2011 - HIV or AIDS survivor Gary J. Mello shares his daring and courageous story of struggle and survival in his newly-released novel, Pushing The Limit. He shows how he, indeed, pushed himself to the limits by enduring the mental, physical and emotional terror of the deadly and highly sensationalized disease called HIV/ AIDS.

Filled with a life of misery and anomaly, Mello was introduced to drug addiction and alcoholism at a very young and fragile age. Eventually, these self-destructive behaviors escalated. As he entered the U.S. Marine Corps, he was introduced to a new world, one where he is expected to defend his country no matter what. However, in his service, he not only had to deal with making other people understand why he had juvenile felonies, he also had to endure abusive officers who emotionally and physically beat him. What he thought was already a life of hell turned into something more nightmarish. He was not prepared for what awaits him for in the next eighteen years, he would suffer the horrors of HIV/AIDS.

This book will be featured at this year's New York Library Association Book Exhibit in Saratoga Springs, NY, on November 2 to 5, 2011.
