In response to President Bush's call for a U.S. investment of an additional $30 billion for global HIV and AIDS programs over the next 5 years, the Center for Health and Gender Equity (CHANGE) called on Congress to remove onerous restrictions on prevention funding under the President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) that are grossly undermining efforts to stem the spread of HIV.
THE STIGMA SONG by Jony Jerusalem
May 9, 2007 - Iseral - The song was written by Jony Jerusalem, Israel
No one is to blame because I’m just the same
As the people you meet when you walk down the street
We all have a purpose, a life to fulfill
Though some may be healthy and some may be ill
The trouble that hides in me couldn’t be worse
The illness inside me is more like a curse
For I have a virus and AIDS is its name
But don’t turn away from me, I’m not to blame
