World AIDS Day 07 Events
November 29, 2007 - Vancouver, B.C. - Local performers, activists and AIDS service organizations have big plans for World AIDS Day 2007. Over 13 events across the city will attract thousands of people, raising funds for local and international AIDS related causes, creating awareness, and demonstrating solidarity with people living with HIV/AIDS.

Oratorio for AIDS

Project Stitch Virtual AIDS Quilt

John Greyson and David Wall - Fig Trees

Description: Fig Trees is a multimedia opera that considers treatment and political issues in the story of Zackie Achmat, a South African man living with AIDS. Achmat's decision to refuse treatment until medication was available to all who needed it made international headlines. Runs to Dec. 9th. www.newmusic.org
