National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

Join us February 7 for a candlelight march to honor National Black HIV/AIDS Awareness Day (NBHAAD). This year's theme is, "We Are The Ones We've Been Waiting For."
The mission of NBHAAD is to build the capacity and increase awareness, participation and support for HIV prevention, care and treatment among Black Americans.
Guest Speakers: Cynthia Carey-Grant and Ernest Hopkins
Event Schedule:
6:00 p.m.: Press conference at the steps of San Francisco City Hall
6:30 p.m.: Candlelight march to Quaker Meeting House (65 9th St, San Francisco)
7:00-7:30 p.m.: Refreshments
7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.: NBHAAD event program consisting of performances by local Bay Area artists and a community panel discussion of AIDS activism and action within the black community.
