Apr 1, 2023 — During the pandemic, the world's attention shifted to fighting off COVID-19. Yet another epidemic has remained: HIV-AIDS.
Progress has been made since the first case was detected in Canada four decades ago, but there's still a long way to go to eradicate the disease.
And despite calls for Canada to do more to prevent HIV and increase testing, the federal budget fell far short of what advocates were hoping for.
